You tell Rae things you might not tell your best friend: your budget, your family dynamics, the parts of wedding planning that keep you up at night. Here is exactly what happens to all of it. The short version: your wedding stays yours.
What we collect
What you tell Rae. Your wedding details, budget, guest count, preferences, vision, and the notes you share in conversation.
Your contact details. Your names and email address, used to sign you in and reach you about your wedding.
Vendor correspondence. The emails Rae sends to vendors on your behalf and the replies and quotes that come back.
How we use it
To plan your wedding: building your plan, researching vendors, comparing quotes, and tracking your budget.
To contact vendors you ask us to contact, on your behalf.
To improve Rae, using only anonymized and aggregated information. Nothing that identifies you or your wedding is used to help anyone else. This includes anonymized price benchmarks and, when you correct Rae about a cultural tradition, the anonymized correction itself. You can tell us to leave your wedding out of this entirely, at any time, and we will.
What we never do
We never sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
Nothing you share is ever shown to another couple.
Your budget is never shared with vendors. Rae asks vendors for their pricing first, and your numbers stay between you and her.
This site does not use advertising trackers.
Services we rely on
A few well known services help us run Marigold. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
Vercel hosts this site and processes standard server logs.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this page.
FormSubmit delivers our signup form, so anything you enter there is also processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co).
Google Calendar handles booking when you schedule a call with us.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your wedding information while we are planning together and for a reasonable period afterward. Want it gone? Email us and we will delete it: your conversations, your plan, your vendor threads and quotes, all of it. What remains is only anonymized, aggregated information that cannot be traced back to you, like the price benchmarks that help every couple know what things cost.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be sent to the email on your account.
